The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating.
Unfortunately, the room didn't meet our expectations. The carpet appeared clean but felt grimey, forcing us to wear shoes indoors. Breakfast was supposed to be included but wasn't offered, leading to confusion as we drove around searching for coffee, only to find a café nearby upon our return. We also experienced a frustrating situation where guests were locked out of the building for a time.

It was on the highway
The non-smoking room smelt like cigarettes, and the shower/bathroom needs to be up-dated.

The place was functional, nothing to complain about, would be happy to recommend. Everything was fine, nice location next to a beautiful forest with a castle on top of one of the wooded hills, and the concert venue, pleasant experience. All of the staff was very amiable and attentive and attentive to guests. There was plenty of good meals. In general the service was good. Easy check-in was a bonus...
Nothing it was perfect.

No way this place has a rating of 7 as advertised. Old one story building. Tried to spruce rooms up, but still small and old. Bathroom was small and smelled of mold. Very busy road not 30 feet from room. Quite loud. Planned on four day stay, but cut it to two days, and found a room up the road. Advertises free wi-fi, but very weak. You have to be in the lobby for it to work. You get what you pay for.

Friendly and helpful Front Desk associates; Spacious room with tall ceilings; fridge in the room; laundry facilities available; HBO; good location; the affordable price.
Hallways and stairs carpeting need a deep cleaning; there was not a chain secondary lock on the door- only the old slide for it; one of the electrical outlet's cover was on the floor.

The rooms were modern and very clean.
The shower door was very difficult to open and the enviornment outside (people hanging around smoking) was intimidating.

Management staff - Mike - was friendly. We arrived late Friday on May 12, 2016 and Mike was on duty. He promptly took care of the check-in. We found the room to be clean and comfortable. Wi-fi was excellent. An overall pleasant two night stay.
Maid service was not completed on Saturday, May 13.

Check in: screaming kids behind the check in rep....Obviously family owned and live in owners. Musky smell in room. No hot water in shower...lukewarm, at best. Continental breakfast was laughable. Deceptive pictures on website verse reality.
See above.

Very clean. There was an extra blanket in the dresser drawer
Television did not have the channels listed on the guide in the room. On a fairly busy street so the noise from traffic, my heater in my room never got hot it was blowing out cold air while on heat

Conveniently located.
It was a smoking room but it had not been cleaned properly (it was so bad that even though I smoke my chest was tight from breathing in second hand smoke), there was strands of hair on the pillows, there was no remote for the tv to switch between hdmi and av for my gaming system (it had a universal remote that did not work), the toilet flush was wasting water, I did not even turn down the blankets as I was afraid to look under the covers (also afraid I would end up bringing home bed bugs. The staff was not friendly and behaved condescendingly (as if they were doing me a favor). I asked the woman about nearby places to eat, she said, "Wait until I finish this transaction." Then went she was done taking my money she pointed to a stack of papers, it was a list of places to eat. She handed me two card keys and said the room number. That picture is a misrepresentation. It is a single story Days Inn renamed Whitney Inn and Suites. The same old furniture is still there, the carpets were worn and the walls had patched holes where light switches previously were excised rather than fixed. I do not recommend this place at all. I should have go to a Motel 6.
